I have two beautiful West Highland Terriers. Our oldest, Bailey, is 5, and we
just got our little guy, Barkley (who just turned 1 in June) last October. All
of our friends always said what a great dog Bailey was - and we thought it was
because we had trained her so well. Wanting a playmate for her, we got
Barkley, and quickly learned that it was Bailey's submissive personality, not
our training, that made her a "good dog".
Barkley was a terror....he chewed, he barked, he ran around our house like he
was on fire. When he chewed the spindles on our staircase, my husband told me
that I had to do something or Barkley was headed out the door. I was in tears;
on the one hand, I have this dog, who even though he is a terror around the
house, is also the most loving, sweet little guy when he wants to be; and on
the other hand, my husband and I can't bear to watch this crazy little dog
tear our house apart!
I happened to see the infomercial for your training on TV a few weeks ago, and
had considered it because of Barkley's mischievous ways...after that
conversation with my husband, I purchased your System. I received it 4 days
ago. The first thing I noticed was how much information your DVDs
cover! As recommended, I watched the initial training segments on the DVD,
and then set out on a walk to work on "Leash Pulling." I was AMAZED that,
in literally 5 minutes, my dog was walking with me without pulling! Even
more amazing was the fact that when I would stop walking, he would also stop
AND LAY DOWN! I couldn't believe it. In 4 days, he has learned to walk
without pulling on his leash, he has learned Down, Down and Stay (even while I
throw his toy in front of him!), Retrieve, and Come. My husband can't believe
it. Your philosophy on training is something I hadn't heard before (most
of the time you hear about training with treat rewards), but when I listen to
Mr. Sullivan speak about the mind-set of dogs, it makes so much sense.
To see the change in my dog in just 4 days is unbelievable - I can't wait to
see what we can accomplish in the next 4 days! If I had to
pick my favorite part of this training so far, it was seeing the happiness on
Barkley's face last night as he got to play "Retrieve" with me for the first
time ever - outside where he could run. I would recommend these
DVDs to anyone and everyone with a dog. If my little terror can change
so much in a matter of minutes, it can work for anyone! Thank you, Thank

First, I would like to say THANK YOU! Your System rocks! I have tried many
types of training for my 2 Labs and nothing has worked until I started your
System. I was shocked and amazed that you weren't lying when you said there
would be a difference in only 5 minutes. I couldn't believe it, but now I
certainly do.
Don-
The fact that your training DVDs have been so masterfully structured and
concisely edited, and your instructions simply leave no doubt what is correct
and what won’t work, has resulted in what I would consider, the best
trained, freest dog I’ve ever been around! And that’s just in the first 6
months of her life, and the first 6 weeks since I bought your program.
When I was waiting for your disks to arrive in the mail, I saw a posted rate
of $125 per hour for phone consulting on your site. I thought, “That’s good to
know. If there are any gaps or special problems, I may have to pay, but I can
get real, accurate answers. It’s not just, ‘good luck with your DVDs.’ ” Then
after I got and watched the DVDs, I thought, “Wow! I can’t think of a
single thing he left out or that I would ask. This guy has done a GREAT job of
putting things together! It’s all there.” I almost went ahead and booked a
phone consultation just to say thanks personally.
I spoke today with a friend of mine at work who has owned Labradors for years.
I told her that my six month old dog can now do commands with incredible
reliability. She can SIT, DOWN, STAY, WAIT, COME, SIT AT A DISTANCE, GO PEE,
GO TO THE BATHROOM, and a couple of extra things like, we have a PLAY command
that she just runs full speed around the back yard in circles, figure eights,
etc. because she wants to. It was a behavior she enjoyed (she invented) while
playing outside one time with a dropped leash, and now we say PLAY to let he
know it’s okay if she wants to. Also, I have a THAT’S FAR ENOUGH command to
tell her that she has wandered to a border and it’s time to turn back, but
don’t worry about coming all the way back like a COME command.
After owning dogs for years, my friend was amazed at all my puppy can do,
and so quickly! She says, “You sure got a smart dog.” I told her it’s not the
dog, it’s Don Sullivan’s training.
Around the office we’re all into photography and we have some of the world’s
leading photographers on our staff. We all know a story about being at dinner
and showing photos to others at the table when the waitress commented, “Those
are great pictures! You must have a great camera.” When the check came, the
photographer said to the waitress, “That was an excellent meal! You must have
great pots.” - I think that really kind of covers it.
Sure, I have a great dog, but it’s mostly because of great training!

I am writing to say that this training program is EXCELLENT! I have a 6 year
old German Shepherd that has been running our household since she was a puppy.
We were aggravated, tired, and at our wits end with her, and then I saw an
infomercial for this product. I thought, well, I don't have anything to lose,
and I decided to try the program. Unbelievably, I saw some results the day
I started training! My husband thought I was a kook for buying these
DVDs and he thought it would never work on our dog. Well, he was really
surprised, and then he started watching the videos too. We are about 4 days in
and already there has been a dramatic change in her attitude. I look
forward to continuing her training and seeing the full results. I would
recommend the program to ANYONE with an out of control dog. Thank you for
putting these DVDs out there. Reading it in a book isn't half as effective
as watching the DVDs, so thanks again!

I bought your perfect dog system a month or so ago, with no great
expectations of it really working. My young dog was unresponsive to most
commands (unless doing tricks for food), and was becoming increasingly
aggressive towards larger dogs and strangers. I am BLOWN AWAY by the change
in her! Her responses are immediate, and in most cases, consistent until I
release her from the command. We're still a work-in-progress, but her progress

I have been trying various training plans with no success. Rose (my dog) is
not interested in treats for the most part, so clicker training and such
methods were useless with her. Your methods make a lot more sense,

Dear Mr. Sullivan,
I just wanted to send you another email to let you know how wonderful your
DVD and training methods have been for myself and my dog Rose.
Rose is a Thailand Ridgeback and they are a rare dog in the United States and
are known to be somewhat independent dogs. She came to me by air shipment from
Maryland to Los Angeles. She came stuffed into a crate that was barely large
enough to contain her. She was sick and terrified.
I was determined to train her from the minute we got her and I started right
away. We were going to train her to stay in a crate but each time I placed her
in the kennel she would defecate and then dig in it to spread it all over the
crate. I made the crate smaller but nothing worked. After three weeks we gave
up and tried to contain her in the kitchen with gates, she simply climbed or
jumped over no matter how big a gate or blockade we erected. We finally gave
in and she slept under our bed when we were away from the house. This set the
tone for everything, she would sit and come sometimes, but she knew she was
the boss, walking was a nightmare.
I have more collars than I can count, no pull, choke, halti, no pull
harnesses. Nothing worked. I have several clickers and books, books on
training including some from famous TV trainers. Nothing helped she pulled,
pulled, pulled.
My daughter who has done a lot of research on dog training for her dog
recommended your DVDs. This was after we left the dog to board for a few days
at a veterinarians office and she attacked the staff, I was so concerned she
would bite someone and that I would lose her.
Your DVDs are fabulous. The advice is so practical and effective…Our
first walk was a learning period for both of us, by the second walk I had
learned how to correct and the difference is amazing. No more sore shoulders
and arms, no more being dragged across the street. We enjoy our walks
together. I have Rose wear her collar and a shorter lead in the house and
the difference is amazing, she seems calmer already. We are going to start
down and stay in the next few days.
We did have a problem with your collar, but the customer service person I
spoke to immediately ordered a new one for me. She was apologetic and
sincerely concerned. I was surprised to get an email directly from you and
then a phone call. To have such concern over quality and customer service is a
rare thing in today's business world. Thank you so much for your concern,
advice and help. I am truly looking forward to the day Rose can walk off lead
and we can be happy together as it should be with dog and owner.

Don,
We got the DVDs. Thank you very much. I took Shooter and Gunner for a walk in
Brush this morning and they did very well. No pulling or barking. The dogs
have been really good. Emily, my daughter, works with them both everyday and
is watching your DVDs like a sponge. She will even take them out individually
before school. It is great seeing her so excited…
My Dad watched me today and was smiling when my dogs did a down stay on his
driveway. He was amazed at their being so responsive. He has babysat for us in
the past and it always wore him out. :) He was impressed and that is saying

I am absolutely thrilled after receiving this program and working with
my 5 month old puppy for just 2 days!! There is very little information about
this program on the web (besides this site) but I did find a brief discussion
group at Amazon.com where I added my testimonial to the thread. As a dog owner
for 25 years of my life (I'm 45) and a graduate of several dog training
classes, I believe THIS 2DVD set was the BEST thing I could have done for
my dog and my life. - THANK YOU just doesn't cover it, but THANK YOU!!

I am sooo thankful to you and your training system!! We became the proud
owners of a "cute little Weimeraner" that soon became very dominant. We read
all the books and thought we were educated and ready to train. Nothing worked.
I couldn't walk across the room without being attacked. People
couldn't/wouldn't visit because she was so out of control. She is now a happy,
calm puppy. We only wish we had known about your training system sooner. It
would have saved us and our puppy, Gwennie, so much stress and unhappiness.

Since I've had my Border Collie (it's been about 9 months now), not ONCE had
she walked by my side. Every single time I would take her for a walk she would
be constantly pulling. Today I took her for a walk and applied Don's
techniques. She stopped pulling after 2 minutes and was walking like a
normal dog for the remainder of our walk!

Oh my goodness...I thought long and hard about getting a puppy. My doc gave me
one restriction, make it small. I want NO pulling on your back. I had fallen
and crushed vertebrae and disks in my back, so with that and other problems I
have, I go head over teacups very easy. I was in my new home now and alone and
missed the companionship of my perfect dog, Tink. She passed away in the fire
that took my home.
So when I sat down in the floor with a large group of pomeranian puppies
rolling and playing around me, Luci melted my heart. Born 12/04/2007...
We started out ok. She dealt with the crate wonderfully but all hell was about
to break loose. She did pee pee where she wanted, refused to do poo outside.
Chews up every thing she can reach - shoes, mail, rubber tips on door stops,
glasses, pens, you name it. Nothing is safe or sacred. No matter how hard I
baby proofed she found away to get around it. She barks a shrill that shivers
your bones, torments the cats, pulls on the leash, trips me and has separation
anxiety like you wouldn't believe, whines, cries, jumps, licks, nips, chews
your hands. If you can name it, she does it.
Now I have read and searched the internet, tried the dog whisperer tips,
received advice from friends, cried, screamed and was humiliated with her
chewing up house guests’ personal items. I had reached the decision that Luci
needed to go to a new home.
I was flipping channels and your infomercial popped up. I watched you change
dogs in minutes. Truthfully I figured it was another trip down rip off
drive. I looked at Luci and said okay, one more try, and I even did the $10.00
get it to me now!!! It was in my mail box when Luci and I arrived home
from my 3 1/2 hour ride (one way) that we make every month to my doc. I
watched DVD number one and looked at the collar and leashes and the ball. Then
put it all in the box and went to sleep.
This morning, I watched the DVD again, then put the collar on Luci. Then
watched some of the second DVD. I let Luci get adjusted to the new collar and
dragging leash and went back to the first DVD. I felt that "down" and "stay"
was the priority, sooooo here we go.
She took to the collar immediately. A light jerk and her eyeballs were big as
saucers in shock, tug two and she was down and a strange new look was on her
face. The demon was leaving. Then we did stay and needed the silent reminder
tug. OMG. Who is this new dog? She has taken on a whole new body language.
I was not frustrated and shaking. She was listening and cooperating. I
called my ex husband and told him about the new program. We actually got to
talk on the phone without her barking, biting, licking and jumping all over
me.
WONDERFUL, FABULOUS, OUTSTANDING. This is Unbelievable!!! We have taken
a walk around the property without the tug-of-war barking battle. You have
saved my dog from being evicted from my home. I know that the rest of the
training will go well. I have the companion I thought about when I brought her
home. I just needed to be trained how to train her.
Thank you so much. I will recommend your system to everyone. I'm sure
that Luci thanks you too.
After working with your program for just a couple of weeks, I have realized
the difference in not only my dog, but the way I feel about him. He is
no longer just a pet; he is now another member of the family. Rather than
leaving him at home because it’s just too much of a pain to take him, he gets
to come with us pretty much everywhere.
When I take him on his nightly walks, I have gone from dreading the walks
because of being so exhausted from him pulling on the leash the whole time, to
us not even using the leash most of the time. Due to some rather severe back
injuries, taking my dog on walks was something that I could not do very often
- even though he is a small Jack Russell, he spent the whole walk just yanking
fiercely the leash, which caused me so much pain. Now he heals without even
being on the leash.
I still have some work to do on him, but even my family was amazed today. They
have been in Europe for the past month and did not know that I had purchased
your training System. Every time that they came over before leaving for
Europe, my dog was jumping up on them and was just a terror. They came over
today and got here a bit early; we were not home yet, so they just let
themselves in. By the time we got home, they were asking if he was sick, or
if something was wrong with him, since he was no longer jumping all over them
and being a complete pain. They were almost dumbfounded to find out that
simple training had made such a huge and positive change in him.

I just bought your system as I have heard excellent feedback from others
who have used it. I have a 9 week old Lhasa Apso. Thanks for such a
wonderful system - I am excited to get the system and help my baby be on her

This is really great, one of the best $60.00 I have ever spent! It is taking time, my fault, it is me that has to be trained more than the

I have a little 9 month old westie female. Although one of my last dogs was a
westie, it took him his full first year to really settle down and learn the
basic commands. Even then, I couldn't ever trust him completely to listen to
me. Holly has been treat trained and does well - as long as you have the
treat. Walking her on a leash was awful as she was constantly pulling looking
for squirrels and chipmunks. I have had the command collar about two weeks and within minutes, she did not pull on her lead. She listens and obeys now
when I give her the basic commands - without a treat. Now we're going to
start on the problems, like chasing our 3 cats. It is great and when I get
done with this email, I am going to order another set for my daughter...

When I ordered this I worried that it was a gimmick, but was desperate
to change my dogs' behaviors. I watched the DVDs right away and felt
encouraged. I put the collars on this morning and I am seeing a change
with in 3 hours...only 2 corrections and no jumping on the next group of
people! No barking or jumping when we were coming in and out of the house at
lunch at my parents! I have high hopes and I am ordering 2 more sets for my
parent's dogs now.

I purchased the "perfect dog" kit on August 12/08 and was very happy with
the results of using the command collar and freedom lines in order to
control my shepherd's aggressive behavior towards other dogs while leashed.
