Do not operate without either the microfibre cloth or disposable pads in place.
The H2O Mop® can only be used when the approved floor cloths are in place.
Never put cleaning detergents or scented products into the H2O Mop®. This will make the operation unsafe and damage the unit.
On surfaces that have been treated with wax, the wax may be removed by the heat and steam action.
Use extra caution on vinyl, linoleum or any other heat sensitive floors.
Do not use on unsealed wood floors or let the unit stand on any wood floor for an extended period of time.
Use only tap water for the H2O Mop®. Residents in areas with hard water, should use distilled water for better performance.
When using the H2O Mop® on carpets, place the mop head (with micro fibre cloth or disposable pad in place) over the carpet glider.
Disposable pads and microfibre cloths can be used on all floor type surfaces.
Disposable cloths are designed for one time use.
To avoid excess water or streak marks on the floor surfaces, please ensure that either the microfibre cloth or disposable pad is either cleaned or replaced at each use.
Microfibre cloth pads can be machine washed in hot water and tumbled dry.
For optimal performance and results, it is recommended to sweep or vacuum the floor prior to using the H2O Mop®.
To ensure maximum steam production, ensure the water tank has the correct level of water.
To sanitize an area of your floor, leave the H2O Mop® over the area for a minimum of 8 seconds, no longer than 15 seconds.
You can easily add water to the H2O Mop® without removing the water container by slightly tilting the handle backwards. Open the cap and use the measuring cup included with your Mop, to pour water into the water container with one hand, while you hold the handle. Make sure the H2O Mop® is turned off before adding water.
